Compton Bay is the Main stretch of beach to come to if you are in to your surfing.
The sea can be very rough at times , and others it can be as flat as a pancake.
So for good surfing check your local weather forecast first.

The beaches along this stretch of coastline from Compton, to Brook on to Brighstone are mainly sand, great for the kids sand castles, and watch out for those Dinosaur Fossils springing out from the cliff faces.
