Bembridge Windmill ..
A very atmospheric shot of Bembridge Windmill also known as 'Knowle Mill'.
Originally built in 1700 with a thatched roof, which was changed to wood in 1720, it still contains the original complete set of wooden gears and machinery used to grind flour, bran and cattle feed, although it was last operated in 1913.
It was used as an observation post by the Home Guard during World War II.
It is the last remaining windmill on the Isle of Wight and is of great historic interest.
I have seen this taken many times, but never with so much atmosphere in the picture.
